aval Lodge is an old lodge with a new heart. This is not your Grandfather’s Lodge. Like the North Bay community that surrounds it, Naval Lodge is a very diverse group. Men come from all walks of life, different ethnic backgrounds and diverse religious traditions.
We are a young minded and energetic Lodge. We are busy conferring degrees and sponsor many social and educational activities.
Quality and not quantity in membership is the goal of Naval Lodge. We do not try to fill our ranks with new members just to increase our dues paying rolls. Instead, we seek young men of quality who really want the fellowship of other men who will help them to improve the quality of their lives.
We take pride that we give each candidate our undivided attention, providing him with an excellent initiation experiences and with the opportunity to develop his mental faculties.
At Naval Lodge we believe that Masonry can provide a young man with a moral and ethical compass that he can use to navigate his life. A dynamic lodge such as this requires commitment, time and energy. We are looking for men who want to be active participants.
Our activities are as diverse as our membership. Our Lodge is responsible for forming one of the first Masonic motorcycle riding clubs in Northern California—the Brazen Pillars Chapter of the Masonic Widows Sons. We are committed to a Masonic Formation program where we offer instruction through roundtable discussions and guest speakers on the history and symbology of Masonry. We also provide our members with a seminar series that focuses on the philosophical foundations of Masonry.
Naval Lodge uses modern communication tools to stay connected with its membership. We have our own web site which is continuously updated as well a monthly electronic newsletter (The Trestlebaord).
Our Lodge is blessed with a beautifully renovated Mid 20th century facility that includes two Lodge rooms, a commercial kitchen, a banquet room that seats 300, an informal lounge and administration offices. Our building offers a panoramic view of Vallejo, a large outdoor deck and ample parking. Our facility is one of the largest private venues in Vallejo for Weddings, Business Meetings and Family celebrations.
